Need your advice - Blu-ray Forum

Hi, everyone! Happy to be here and I hope you will help me. Unfortunately, all of my doors and windows were not properly installed. And it has led to such an issue as mold infestation in my house. Besides, they don`t keep warm in winter( you know about Canadian winters). what is the best solution?

Get an estimate from a reputed contractor maybe?
I'm unsure how to find a good one. Google reviews?

i'd contact the company that installed them and tell they didn't do it correctly. i'd offer them the chance to make it right. if they won't, i'd at least talk to an attorney about it. you paid for something that was done incorrectly. and as a result of that, you now have mold.

and on that note, i'd make sure to have the mold problem corrected as soon as possible. that stuff is no joke and can spread QUICKLY and cause some serious resperitory problems.

then i'd have an estimate done by another company to get the doors/windows issue(s) fixed.

go on several sites for reviews0
ask family/friends/coworkers for recommendations

Your in Canada, i would call Mike Holmes.

He loves to show the hack crap work so many contractors do these days!

On a serious note though i would take sk33tr advice and see if you can find the company that put them in to see if they will correct the issue. And just saying usually the best person for any construction job is not the one with the best quote 9 times out of 10, meaning you get what you pay for! Also prior references and a portfolio of previous work in my book is a must for any large job, if they dont document the good work they do to get more customers then yeah i would move on and find someone that does!

Hi, Wendy K9. I feel sorry for you, but there is always a solution. To be honest, I have never had a mold infestation and I don`t know what to do with it. But I have one contact that will help you. It is the contact of the best company providing doors and windows in Canada. It is an Oakville windows and doors Total Home Oakville company. Their professional staff will solve your problem and you have not to think about how to live in your house in the cold winter.
