United Kingdom Strike (based on the Robert Galbraith novels)

A new series of Strike starts on BBC One next Sunday night (30th August). It's a four-part adaptation. The previous stories have been adaptations of the novels by Robert Galbraith (aka JK Rowling). Starting next Sunday is the story "Lethal White".

My question regarding the last two parts of Strike - Lethal White, was where had Robert Glenister's character disappeared to, when it was he who hired private detective Strike and his secretary/assistant Robin (unless he fired them)?

Thought it was very good as a whole. Apparently, a fifth book has been written by Robert Galbraith (aka J.K. Rowling). Hopefully that gets adapted into the next series.

Default CB Strike

It looks like next month in the UK they will start production on season six of the CB Strike show for the BBC.

Looking forward to it. I loved the previous seasons and i love the books.

Very curious how they are going to adapt the book, where there is a lot of chatroom talk, wich has a lot of importance to the plot of the story.

There is an existing UK TV Shows discussion thread about the series Strike:

United Kingdom Strike: The Ink Black Heart (BBC One)

Have read recently on Geektown that the new Strike adaptation, "The Ink Black Heart", is starting on BBC One on Monday 16th December at 9 pm. It's featured on the preview banner at the bottom of the back page of TV & Satellite Week's latest issue (covering Saturday 7th to Friday 13th December).

Update: The second part of Strike: The Ink Black Heart is being shown the following night in the same timeslot (Tuesday 17th December at 9 pm - 10 pm).

Source: Sky TV listings and TV & Satellite Week (Saturday 14th to Friday 20th December, 2024).

Might anyone know or believe when "The Ink Black Heart" is likely to be available to buy on a disc, like some of the older titles, English audio with no forced subtitles is the only important detail?
