I love this 2005/2006, Julian Jarrold Film!

This is such a Warm delightful Movie. So well-written. The Characters are wonderfully developed and wonderfully acted. And I love the way it deals with the usual Bigotry against the entire LGBTQ Community in such a wholehearted and benevolent way.

Joel Edgerton, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Sarah-Jane Potts and Nick Frost are all wonderful in their Roles. Ejiofor is especially interesting to me because I'm only familiar with his roles in the Firefly Film, Serenity, Love Actually and Doctor Strange. He's great as Mordo.

I'm curious if anyone knows of an eventual American Version... or...

...if anyone in here has picked-up any of the "Imports?"

I have a German Copy that I don't think is legit. I picked it up at a Street Fair in Pacifica CA last year. My understanding is that the "Real" German Copy, not only has English as a Language, but also has English Subtitles. Mine doesn't, and the audio really fluctuates between too loud and muffled breath.

I'm looking to find a any decent version with English Language and English Subtitles.

Great musical! I really wish disney would release the live stage version of Newsies but knowing disney that will probably never happen.

Not even a recording of the original broadway cast with Billy Porter who was BRILLIANT. Hard pass.

They never filmed the Broadway cast sadly. Many productions are recorded in the West End instead of Broadway because it exempts producers from American union broadcasting rules. Back when legally blonde the musical was recorded for MTV they set up strict rules only allowing shows to be aired a certain amount of times. Those rules are probably why we never have seen much of The recording of Legally Blonde the musical since it aired on MTV.

Well it’s certainly different than the movie that the musical was based on.

Yep! I completely dig the Film. I haven't seen the Musical yet... I'll adjust my first post to make it clear. My bad.

I've found a few International Blu-Ray Versions, but I can't pin anyone down as to whether these versions have English Subs etc..

I love the film too. I’ve begrudgingly purchased the digital via Apple. It works for now. Hmmm...I need to check regions on the international versions.
