Livid Media..a new Blu-Ray label in the US? Raiders of Atlantis? - Blu-ray Forum

I’ve read a few posts on a few sites on facebook and put 2 and 2 together..and it seems Raiders of Atlantis may be set for a Blu release. This would be amazing, as it’s my number 1 want. Livid Media has yet to announce, but some soft confirmation was put out to some messages on a post apcalyptic facebook site. All I’m saying is stay tuned...I certainly am 😅

IIRC Raiders of Atlantis may have been ill-fated label Midnight Legacy's planned followup release - or at least in their pipeline for future titles. I wonder if the people behind this new venture are associated with ML. Staying tuned...

We removed the announcement because another label "claims" to have ownership. Now we are waiting to hear from the studio we are licensing it from. The studio we are working with has been around since 1984. I doubt they could be around that long using shady practices. So until then we have removed the announcement. And this is NOT a bootleg. We do not sell bootlegs. Disc replicant companies will NOT press discs unless you have the proper copyright papers. Just cause some guy says its a "boot" who has no clue of whats going on behind the scenes is unprofessional and ignorant. We have been negotiating and working on deal this for several months as well. We have come to a amicable agreement with the other company. We will no longer pursue the title. And they will introduce us to the owners of a dream title of ours since we began this venture! So it's a win for both of us! And a win for you the consumer as well!
The owner of the company is a very nice guy. I look forward to meeting him at a convention soon. And am thank full for all his help & patience on this matter.

First of all, a convention is NOT happening. LMAO

Second, I hope they didn't "remaster" the film before they so gingerly "unpursued" it. Or maybe they were just planning on putting any old scan on Blu-ray.

I'm staying far away from these people until there's ample proof they're not charlatans. Even then, if these are the same people behind Midnight Legacy, I don't know if I want to giddily endorse another new venture only to be let down again. So far it looks like they don't do very good research. Where were they during the Arrow Django fiasco? lol
