Pointless release if you bought the UHD steelbook from Best Buy like I did. For those who haven't made the leap to 4K yet though it's not.

Contemplating this one especially at $12.99...I’ve heard the 4K transfer for this movie is pretty bad so I won’t be upset about not getting the BBY steelbook for almost twice the price

I'd take a look at the official Goodfellas thread and re-evaluate that. The person that originally ragged on it and gave it that bizarre bad rating in the beginning has been pretty much destroyed and mocked consistently over the last couple of years and many love the new 4k, myself included. I was ready for disappointment but was shocked at how great it looked when I finally saw it last year.

I appreciate the tip, otherwise I wouldn’t have looked much past the surface as I usually (and maybe ignorantly?) look at a rating to make my decision. Thank you,
