Finally PS3 Owner - Blu-ray Forum

i am finally certified PS3 80 GB owner and im very happy.i just bought my first 80GB ps3 this afternoon at Gamestop because i couldnt find one at any BB store.i traded my old PS2 and they took it for 65 bucks my total came up to $479.at first i was having a hard time connecting using my modem its always error but when i triedwireless it went through and i was able todo the update.i bought the Rock Band Bundle,Rachet and Assasin's Creed for starters,and the Motor Storm that came with it.right now im still learning the capabilities of my new PS3,so if you guys can give some pointer i will be very thankfull.

congratulations and make sure you turn off ps3 everytime you go bed or leave house... ENJOY your new PS3 and buy some blus too

You can go online with it, help find cure for cancer with it, play high quality games, browse around the playstation store every now and then for updates.

Other then that, ENJOY.

Oh yeah, Blu-ray.

2008 looks to be an awesome year for Blu/PS3 overall as well.

With Blu-ray owning, and a huge amount of PS3 exclusive titles coming out. It's a win win for you my friend.

Congrats!!! I ordered mine from Sonystyle today so I should have my 80 in about four business days. We already had a 40 for the family room but this ones all mine and has the mem card reader. I can't wait

oh my god!im having so much fun im typing right now with my controler and surfing the net using my PS3.this is priceless

Oh you should get a wireless keyboard for it. Mine is a buetooth one by Logitech and it work great!

Also, I do recommend Uncharted, that's a pretty fun game.
The graphics is breath taking!

since i bought a PS3 would i be still able to get the 5 free movies on mail?i already got 5 free when i bought my BDP1400.ami going to qualify to redeem another 5?

Will any bluetooth keyboard work with it? I still have a gift card from the apple store and the new thin blue keyboard is small enough to put on my lap when I am on the PS3.

Congratulations to all new PS3 owners. Among games, Uncharted and Heavenly Sword are highly recommended. Also go get some BLU-RAys.

Congratulations man. You won't be disappointed with your purchase. If you're a gamer I suggest you buy Warhawk. If you're new to gaming maybe try something like Call of Duty 4 instead. A much less steep learning curve.
