I didn't see the need to use anything other than an Excel spreadsheet. I have one page that lists: Number (1 to whatever), Title, Studio, Video Codec, Aspect Ratio, and Rating (per Blu-Ray.com or Highdefdigest.com).
On the 2nd page I just list: Number and Title. I enter a movie like The Rock under "R", and enter it as "Rock, The". I also then have a column that indicates who I loaned the title to (or if I shipped it off to be replaced). So far it is working for me. I have 64 titles as of today. |

I used to use DVD Profiler but I guess they are charging now. It's a nice software but I guess I'll try out DVD Spot now.

I use 2 Excel spreadsheets, one for DVDs (324)and 1 for Blu-Ray(55).
I have columns for title, aspect ratio, actors, run time, genre ane my rating (1-5). Titles in bold have not yet been watched. It will automatically sort by title to make finding a title easy. I may try dvd Dpot anyway. |

I'm a nerd who created my own MS Access database to maintain my films... but it just lacks any pizazz, as it were. Additionally, Access is a real memory hog...
![]() Thanks to all who shared "dvdspot". I think I'll be trying that out tonight!!!! |
