Default Itunes gift option question

1. If I select to gift movies to my relative but Im not sure which email they associate with Apple Id. Let say A@gmail.com is the email that I am going to gift
1.1 if their associate Apple id email is B@gmail.com, can they redeem the gift that I sent to them on A@gmail.com? ( both A@gmail.com and B@gmail.com belong to my relative)
1.2 if somehow, they already have the gift movies in their library, can I fortunately redeem it by myself? Or only email I wrote in gift option will be the only email that can apparently redeem?
1.3 how long the gift last?

When you use the gift option a code that can be redeemed in iTunes will be sent to the email that you provide. It does not have to be the Apple ID of the recipient. And yes, you can also redeem it yourself as long as you have the code.
