Default Big Mama I & II/Crazy Mama & Lady in Red Limited Editions from Shout

https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=7590

https://www.shoutfactory.com/product...roduct_id=7593

These are available now from Shout. I posted it in the Scream thread, but figured I'd post them here too.

Lady in the Red is a personal favorite, bloody, and has Christopher Lloyd as a pretty evil mobster. Thumbs up!

Thanks for posting this. Kind of surprised there are no entries for these in the database.

At least these are 1500 copy runs this time instead of the previous two sets of 1000, so those who truly want them will have a little more opportunity to grab them.

Both arrived today, and they just come in the cheap "eco cases" with the holes in them. So of course one cover got dented/creased in since Shout loves to ship in large and loose mailers.

This must be their new norm. WildCats, Eyes of a Stranger and He Knows You're Alone also all had the same crappy eco-cases.

I heard this was just temporary and they're going back to regular cases soon.

Got these today too, along with my copy of King Kong, and they were shipped wrapped in branded paper in a sturdy box. Must be the luck of the draw.

This is how every package I've gotten from them for at least the past two years has been shipped.

Surprised to find out it's not always like that.

1500's a better start. Hopefully there will be reissues for the previous "limited edition" releases as well. I want the previous swords and sorcery double feature and the horror single editions more than these.

Shout told me they are probably going to repress those titles next year if the demand is still there. I also agree these are probably not going to sell as well even if these were 1000 Ltd ed

Did anyone else notice the Jonathan Demme and Roger Corman Interview for Crazy Mama isn't even included on the disc?

It is indeed listed on the website and the back cover, but nowhere to be found on the disc. The "TV Spots" are also apparently absent on the disc.

Plus the eco-cases? And only $28 each plus tax. It's great some of these are coming out for fans, but how do extras accidentally get left off from the DVD versions?

Thankfully, Corman's action-sleaze-drama flicks aren't my faves, I like them enough, but I'll stick with the DVD's on these two.

No clue, but they're not on the disc. They are listed on the back cover, and I can't really see any reason why they weren't ported over from the old double-feature DVD. The Demme/Corman Audio Commentary is on the disc at least...

The transfers look pretty good, and all of the other listed extras appear to be included.

Maybe that’s why there was that pulled announcement. Either they realized they weren’t on the discs or weren’t cleared and had to be removed.

Who knows, maybe the interviews weren't cleared for the reissue?, but the tv-spots should never have been an issue at all. I just think it was an authoring mistake. But whatever I may think means nothing and really isn't the answer of what happened, so anything is possible... Just talking out loud.

I'd have to get out my old DVD, but I don't recall anything offhand that seemed odd in the Interview. It seems bizarre that the Demme/Corman Audio Commentary would get included, but not the Demme/Corman Interview.

I guess it could have been some clearance issue, but the original TV Spots too? Yet the original Trailer was included? Weird. My guess is they just screwed up.

I noticed this to last night when I was going through the disc and ended up sending them an email asking about it. If I get a response I'll post it.
Normally this wouldn't bug me as much, but a $30 disc that already had a punch in the eco-case has me on edge with this release.

I love these Corman discs that they've been putting out, but Shout has a long history of listing extras on the actual packaging that aren't actually there. It used to be amateurish, now all these years later...it's just embarrassing. Especially with a limited edition that costs $27 in an eco case.

Crazy Mama is friggin awesome, though. Easily my favorite of the four in this batch and it's a nice upgrade.
