I didn't see a thread for this so I thought I'd make one. Just ordered this, my second VS. Any one get this release? What are your thoughts?

I watched this last weekend. I kind of like it, but it is really odd. The main character is not a character I wanted to side with. He's kind of like Ferris Bueller is Bueller had gone to jail for what he did in that film. This is our main character and I just didn't like him. Walken, on the other hand, is great! His first scene is one of the craziest scenes I have seen in any film in a long time. The film has some pacing problems and the murders are pretty graphic, but over a bit too quickly. It is worth watching, though. I might revisit it in the future to see if my opinion of it changes. The film looks and sounds great and the special features are worth watching.

Funnily enough that actor played Ferris Bueller in the short lived TV series.

I actually watched some of this on YouTube just because I was curious to see what it was like. It's really horrible, but funny to see Jennifer Aniston (before Friends) playing the Jennifer Grey part.

I'm down with anything to see a good Walken performance. I have seen clips of this one on YouTube, but never actually watched the movie, so I was glad to see VS got ahold of it. I've seen Charlie Schlatter on the show Diagnosis Murder (because it's on a lot when my mom's around), he's okay but I could see him easily playing a character that's hard to like. Like hungrywives pointed out, he did play "Ferris Beuler," but he's really not funny in that role.

Never in a million years would I have expected this turning up on blu-ray but since I managed to snag two different DVD-releases of it in the past I will definitely snag this too! Directed by Potsie from Happy Days.

Just finished watching this and, I gotta say, I thought this was terrific haha. It's just absolute nuts! Some of the dialogue, man... I thought this was a lot of fun!
