Cronenberg

I like Alien and Blade Runner more than any Cronenberg film, but I haven't been impressed with anything Scott has done since. Cronenberg however has made great movies throughout his entire career.

Both great, but I have a personal attachment to Scott's work, so he gets my vote.

Alien by itself is enough to put Ridley over David. If this was a fight, it would be the KO punch. Gladiator, Black Hawk Down, and Blade Runner would be those unnecessary punches landing on an unconscious opponent before the ref steps in.

The Fly rocks though.

Cronenberg is more my speed even though Alien and Blade Runner probably both outrank any of his films.
