I love to see release 4K UHD of The Crow in the future and I still own 2011 Lionsgate release Blu-ray and happy to add 4K UHD to my collection someday.

Years ago I was reading something about the director heading to the "vault" to find some of the lost material so he could do a director's cut. I think it was in 2009. Couldn't find anything about it anymore.

I did find an article from 2012, but I'm not sure how reliable it is.
It doesn't matter anyway, there's not gonna be a DC.

Next May is the 30th anniversary of this movie… and the new film with Bills Skarsgard wrapped production back in September. Surely we will get a 4k release of this to hype the new movie, right? Imagine those inky blacks on an OLED TV.

This year the movie turns 29 and on March 31 it will be 30 years ago Brandon Lee died.

Is the release date of the new movie already known?
Would be cool if they release it next year in May. Gives them time to finalize the movie a bit better instead of rushing it

Yea, I was told three weeks ago that a 4K UHD was coming with January being the plan and an announcement would be made "next week" but that has yet to happen.
Obviously if mastering is only being done now it won't be January.

- it was one of the first movies I worked on so I have a special attachment to it, though obviously bittersweet.
