Is this one any good, or is it a Piranha situation? I've seen the first once and quite liked it. I guess I didn't even know there was a sequel.

That poster artwork is awesome! Too bad the movie doesn't deliver from what I remember. I haven't seen it since it's release on VHS as a kid. I barely remember a thing about it.

Isn't this rated PG-13? I remember seeing it once on VHS probably 25 years ago or so. I didn't like it much, but I recall it not being the worst thing ever.

Yeah.
Just looked at my UK dvd of both movies, and both are rated 15. Yet in the US, 1 was R and 2 was PG-13.

I'll wait for this to go on sale, but will probably pre-order the first. The first is all-out awesome, I can't recall much about 2 except it not coming close to living up to 1.

Great news to see though.

In Australia part 2 was PG, (and part 1 an M - a 15+ recommendation but not restriction). I remember it being very tame compared to the original, and a massive step down in quality. I'm definitely getting part 1, will wait to see if any extras turn up for 2.

And yeah, would love the Crocodile (and Shark Attack, Spiders and Octopus) movies to get a lovely Blu... they were so cheesy. The worst was easily Shark Attack 3 - a bad movie "masterpiece".

The Shark Attacks did get a very underwhelming blu. I saw it but passed since Megalodon didn't sound like much if any upgrade from my dvd (also have the first 2 on dvd, but 3 is something else).

That was disc 2 of this set which I never saw. Walmart had a price placer for it but only had the dvd. The single disc is much cheaper still, and with having seen only of 2 of the 4 "films" on disc 2, the 2-pack ain't worth it.

That's a shame... only came out this year (2021) but 4 films on 1 disc? Yuck... The DVD version is also 4 films on 1 disc... how awful will they look! I didn't see it announced anywhere... but looks like these movies won't get a release any time soon in a proper way. Which is a shame as SA3:Megalodon is a riot.

Been dying to watch this and I waited for years to watch it just in case it came out on blu ray. I caved on 3 months ago and watched it on vhs, darn!
It:s definitely not as good as the first one but it's still a lot of fun and one of the better croc movies (well, Alligator).
That theatrical poster is incredible. Both movies have two of the best horror posters of all time, imo.
