Default Old Henry Blu-ray

Very little talk about this one, but I figured I'd give it a shot as I love me a western.

I haven't been the biggest fan of the modern day western and attempts at making it feel as realistic as possible, but this one nailed it. Tim Blake Nelson may not look like a leading man, but he sure is one.

This film is building towards something for nearly 90% of the film, and you're not sure if the slow build up is going to pay off, but it does and in spades.

The Blu-ray looks great, and if you're a western fan, then I highly suggest this one. I've always seen Tim Blake Nelson as that goofy guy from O'Brother Where Art Thou, but after this, I see him in a whole different light.

I think you have to go through a bunch of messages to find talk on Old Henry in the first link. Lots of western movie talk. I know there were a few posts from people who are really serious about westerns and who had views on it.
As the movie has been out for a bit now, it's kind of late to start a parade.
Great movie, and what you say is all true.

Only been out for a month. Not a very long time, and again, no topics about the film on the Blu-ray section. A lot of people in this sub forum probably never even heard of the film period. Just wanted to bring more attention to it regardless if there were a handful of posts scattered throughout this forum.

Pretty good film, and I never saw the twist coming. When I heard the name, the real name, not the nickname, flashbacks to another Western instantly came to mind. And I was like, "Oh shit...some crazy shit is about to go down."
