Disney remastered Chip 'n' Dale Rescue Rangers in HD a while back. Those copies are the ones on Disney+.

They did this for a few shows (Goof Troop, Timon and Pumbaa and New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh), but not DuckTales.

I'd love to see Winnie the Pooh come to blu.

If buying this gets me the complete "The Adventures of the Gummi Bears" then I'll bite the bullet, for sure.

Gummi Bears needs remastering something fierce. The show got no VHS releases in the US (just Europe), and the in-house DVDs looked slightly better than a fan-made set from off-air TV recordings. Even the Australian DVDs which have some episodes that didn't make it to Region 1 DVD don't look so hot.

I would buy 5 of these to get the Gummi Bears in a decent transfer. It's almost unwatchable on Disney+

Disney+ has it cropped and not the proper aspect ratio. Here's to hoping they didn't screw this one. I heard supposedly on the iTunes HD versions it's in the correct 4:3 but I don't buy digital so can't confirm.

I can confirm that all digital purchase providers have the correct 4:3 versions for Rescue Rangers and Good Troop, which are the two most glaring Disney Plus errors.
There was a short period some episodes were cropped on iTunes but it was soon fixed after release.

Here’s the list of shows I can confirm are in correct aspect ratios on iTunes, Amazon Prime Video etc:
Native 4:3
- DuckTales (SD only)
- Goof Troop [HD]
- Rescue Rangers [HD]
- Jungle Cubs (SD)
- Darkwing Duck (SD)
- Gargoyles (SD)
- TaleSpin [SD]

Native 16:9 [all HD]
- Kim Possible
- American Dragon
- Wander over Yonder
- Penn Zero
- Tangled
- Big Hero 6

Disney Plus Exclusives:
- Gummi Bears (4:3 correct) [SD] [international versions available]
- Hercules (4:3 correct) [SD]
- New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh [HD, 4:3 correct]
- Quack Pack (see below)
- Recess (see below)
- Pepper Ann (4:3 correct, SD)

Missing but 16:9 native masters exist
- House of Mouse [HD]

International Exclusives:
- Quack Pack [SD, available internationally on Amazon and iTunes in 4:3]
- Aladdin [4:3, available internationally on iTunes and Amazon Prime, SD]
- Recess [4:3 international, no English dub option for this one]
- Fillmore [16:9 native HD, international]

Only cropped:
- Little Mermaid [itunes, Prime versions are the Disney PLus cropped versions, BUT internationally 4:3 correct SD versions are available in Prime and iTunes]

I guess, here’s to hoping more of these will be released?

I hope Ducktales gets remastered in HD. Disney should do it to the 90s Marvel cartoons too.

Somebody at Disney needs to know that Aladdin the series deserves the same treatment.

Didn't realize these had an hd source like film. Used to play the NES game a lot as a kid, though I can't recall watchng the show a whole lot. Disney was actually a paid premium channel back then. We had Showtime and TMC at the time; possibly HBO, but not Disney.

I'm surprised that this is coming out the normal retail route instead of being a DMC exclusive.
