By the time this one releases the Blu-ray version will be two years and four months old. That's not "recent times" and if you think that's "money grabbing" you're in the wrong hobby.

Come, on two years and four months is pretty recent (back in my day that's how long you had to wait after the theatrical release before you could buy a movie on VHS), especially when they could have released the 4K version back then already since it was sourced from the 4K remaster...!

Cool. We're not back in your day. We're in 2021 with 2022 just weeks away. Also, since you seem to know so much about what they could and couldn't have done I'll just leave this here.

What lol? Some of drink the really sugary juice from the teat of these studios. This is about as money grabby as it gets bud. 60 bucks for steel on Amazon? For a simple 4K conversion on a UHD for the steel? The Robocop steels were going for what 12 bucks lmao? Logic. Get some.

Now the 45 collector's edition isn't too bad, but it's not like they aren't making money, and that is almost 54 facking dollars after tax. Weird how some people are so shilly on this forum. Get a new hobby bro! Yeah, okay rich guy. Get a clue how about. My god. Not everybody has loads of money to throw at billion dollar studios and boutique renters.

But didn't you see that the spine is different on this one... that's got to be worth something?

They are both $38.99 with a $44.99 MSRP, actually. That's about a buck more than what the Blu-ray releases were listed for at the time they released. If you're paying $60 for any of these Arrow L.E. sets at release, you're shopping at the wrong place. Feel free to keep up with the outrage, though.

At Amazon I was saying they are 60. The steel is sold out on Arrow, not that I want basically the same exact steel with possibility of actual damage. I already went through enough with Clockwork, and the special edition is a good enough change for me. I paid like 12 bucks for the original bluray steel, and I doubt this one is anything different.

But if you all are thinking 54 bucks at the end of the day for a 4K version is a GREAT PRICE you are smoking the wrong dope.

And for that small boutique? 44 bucks with a terrible return policy? If they send me a damaged package I am shit out of luck. I'd rather take Arrow and points over that. Not a bad deal, but their return policy would kill me with the luck I have, and there is no way I am being stuck with a damaged CE or steel from them.
