Candyman, I think it succeeded more in bringing the level of quality that the original film had. Scream was decent, but wasn't quite there.

P.S., prolly should be careful with how many "C" words we put on here.

Candyman is a worthy sequel to a much better movie, Scream is an adequate sequel to an adequate movie.
