knowing how they handled 5, I’ll either buy the base game only and to hell to every DLC, or buy the game when 7 is announced
depends on how much I want to play it comes release day, unfortunately I don’t have a lot if time to learn these games nowadays |

Nope. After the way Capcom handled 5 they can **** off! I used to love Street Fighter along with many other fighting games but I cannot stand the live service model that so many of them have adopted! So much so I dont even bother with the genre anymore. Capcom had no business charging full price for 5 with the way they put so much of its content behind a paywall or so out of reach to unlock in-game for casual players like me.

Interesting they're going with a Street Fighter 6. I'll be interested to see if they have some new ideas or if it's just mostly new characters and backgrounds.
Would be amazing if they went back to the Sprite style of SF2. Street Fighter 2 is still the best game out of all of them IMO. But yeah, I remember the last one started off as an online game, and if you wanted to play single player, you had to jump through a bunch of hoops and wait for them to add single player download features. Bad choice Capcom, as I avoided that game like the plague. |

If anything, sprite games have made a big comeback, and that's where most of Street Fighter's success has been in the minds of millions of fans. Capcom should try the old sprite art style again. |

![]() ![]() That style reminds me of Street Fighter Alpha. I'm not a fan of the character designs in that game for the new characters. Even so, some of the characters look interesting. But not all in terms of clothing designs. ![]() To me, not great character design compared to the original classic characters. Match the style of the sprite based Super SFII characters with new characters. This seems like an extension of the Alpha style. I like Street Fighter but also would like to see more games that don't require tons of flashing special effects every time a guy throws a simple punch. It's like every move has to be a major event almost. |

The only Street Fighter I ever got into was way back in the early 1990s with part II. I loved that one, the World Champion Edition, that I want to some day own the arcade version for my next man cave, which will be arcade and pinball heaven. But that's a some day thing.
I was also into the Street Fighter II Anime movie and Street Fighter II V TV series. |

These new characters are so uninteresting. Yeah, if they play well that’s good but I’d kind of like a character that actually looks distinctive and appealing as well. Capcom hasn’t delivered since before SFIII. Again, those games play great but the characters are mostly unappealing.

Sprites are more expensive to create I'd imagine which probably limits the roster of characters they could use.
