![]() Looks like it could be fun. Foxx + vampires + the 87Eleven stunt team? Yes please. Dave Franco & Snoop Dogg? Not so much... ![]() |

It was fun watching bodies flying, the ragdoll physics, the bendy, contortionist-style in which everyone died - |

Some very good action scenes but story and acting were mediocre. Felt very 90s, like some sort of belated ripoff/tribute to John Carpenter's Vampires

This one had me after the first vampire fight which was done really well. The second fight with Scott Adkins was also very entertaining. Had the film been able to match those levels it could have been great.
The downside was the onslaught of poorly done comedy and the finale which was pale in comparison to the earlier fight scenes. |

Yeah the house nest action fight scene with the Scott Atkins(it truly shows when you hire an actual stunt/martial artist) brothers was worth the 'price' alone. Amazing over the top choreography!
Good potential world building though that kinda went nowhere. Would of liked to know more about the classes of vampires and even the union! Last edited by Jonno2009; 08-14-2022 at 07:52 AM. |

Yes, the scene with the bros was excellent.
They started a decent world building vampire franchise with this movie. The HQ reminded me a bit of Men in Black, but instead of aliens it’s vampires. The last 15-20 were weak though |

Pretty fun movie, the first 30 minutes were a bit slow but after that with the introduction of Dave Franco I laughed a lot. The Action was great. Especially the fight in the vampire nest with Steve Howey and Scott Adkins. Tgey dhould get their own Spin of Movie

Thought this was hugely entertaining. Probably the best 'Netflix Original' for quite some time.
Some cracking action sequences & stunts. Loved the Nazarian Brothers. [Show spoiler] The only slight blips for me were Snoop Dogg's 'acting' (I get that he's 'iconic' in certain circles, but he's just playing himself as usual. Would have made much more impact with a decent actor in the role IMHO) & the ending was a bit underwhelming. [Show spoiler] 8/10 from me. Sequel please! ![]() |

This was real good.
Way better than Blight. Didnt they explain something about decapitation and the need to stake the vampire and then decapatation is complete....or something like that. U cant just cut off the head without staking them first to avoid regeneration.... Snoop did a great job....he wasnt himself as an over-talkative rapper....he played the Whistler role as the cool veteran. The daughter was annoying. |
