Sounds like it's likely a netowrk encryption problem. Go into your router settings...
http://192.168.1.1 Default Login/Password are usually: "admin" -- Unless you changed them. Go to the network security settings page and try looking at what kind of encryption the router is using and change it as needed. Using WPA + AES or WPA+TKIP should be old enough to connect with your phone. Prior to messing with the router however you may also try going into your phones network settings and looking at what sort of security it's trying to use. Some networks trigger my work phone to look for individual security certificates ehen I try to connect and I have to manually tell them that I want just basic encryption by messing with the settings. Essentially, any network setting on your phone that asks for a certificate or additional login information in the settings (outside of the standard login password) may need to be disabled manually. Hopefully this will get you a bit closer to figuring out what is going on. Last edited by TripleHBK; 07-17-2022 at 04:28 AM. |
