Paramount will be releasing a new Paranormal Activity "Ultimate Chills Collection" set on October 11th. The set will include all 7 PA films, including Next of Kin, which is exclusive to the set in the US. It will also include an exclusive Blu-ray with the documentary "Unknown Dimension: The Story of Paranormal Activity".

I really hope if this "Ultimate Collection" includes Next of Kin, that a solo release is also not far behind. If the Ultimate Collection included both the original festival cut of the first film on Blu Ray as well as Next of Kin on Blu Ray, I'd likely pick it up, but without both being included I'm likely going to be waiting as long as it takes to get this on the cheap if it ends up being the only way to get Next of Kin.

I've already got parts 2-4 and Ghost Dimension on blu and the first film on DVD. I thought I had The Marked Ones but I guess I never picked it up. Still need to watch Next Of Kin. Only interested in the first film and only if they include the festival cut. Hopefully a standalone release with both cuts will be released as well. If not then I'll stick with the fanedit I made.

Hmmm, this is a bit of a bummer. The completist in me would like to have Next of Kin on BD (even if it wasn't a great film and doesn't feel like part of the PA universe), but I don't want to have to buy this boxset to get it. The documentary is (or was, at least) streaming on Paramount+, so I've seen it there. It's good, but I don't think I need to buy this big set just to get that and Next of Kin. Hopefully a single release of that film will follow behind this set!

I really want to get Next of Kin, but I already have the other 6 on Blu-ray and I'm guessing the included discs are the same as the previously released discs. And with Paranormal Activity 8 coming out next year, this box set already feels incomplete.

I bought the 6-film set cheap, so this is bit of a pain. I'll probably get it though, for the two new discs and the nice package. Looks like it includes the 3D disc too.

Paramount is at least releasing Next of Kin separately internationally, but it is unfortunate that they're keeping it exclusive to the set in the US.

Yeah, I would have expected this kind of set after that was released (assuming that's even the final film).

If the price drops I’ll totally pick this up, I have a soft spot for these movies. I like how it has individual artwork/cases too, paramount has been killing it lately with their output

Bullmoose has a pre-order for Next of Kin but only on DVD.

If this was coming from Scream Factory I would be a little more excited since it would likely include new extras/cuts. Would probably cost twice as much though.

I've been hearing about a Festival Cut for the first film. If this had included that cut, I would've double dipped. For now I'm happy with the cheap 6-film set.

Is there any reason to believe the PA1 festival cut will ever be officially released? Second Sight didn't manage to get it for their special edition, so I sort of have my doubts.

I agree - seems doubtful at this point. I did pick up that Second Sight release and it is good, but it would have been even better with that cut!

Seems like each movie will have its own case. I like this packaging. Will probably pick this up eventually and get rid of the old set.
