Yep, beautiful steel, but it's a waste considering it's not a 4K release.

I agree but we should all know by now that Paramount will only release a 4K steelbook after the standard edition has been out a few months. I'm starting to wonder if they base 4K steelbook releases on the success of the 4K standard release

Agreed. At this point, I think anyone interested in the SteelBook will know who's in the cast.

DGAF about 4K.

I've read the book & seen many Frank Abagnale interviews. Much of it did happen, such as posing as a doctor and the "do you concur" bit, how he got the uniform and decals for the checks, and tricking the prostitute into paying him for sex. Just because the Christopher Walken story and annual Christmas phone calls didn't happen, that doesn't mean nothing in the movie actually happened.

If irrc Frank also did help the intelligence community as well as in give lectures I think.

I was only giving a few examples of things in the movie which were true. Yes, he worked for over 30 years in the FBI, and it's worth watching these two interviews with him, as you can see how he absolutely commands attention is in incredibly likeable:

I was being sarcastic. I didn't literally mean nothing. There have been many things said in the past that disputes some of the stuff that occurred in the movie, or even book. I don't for a second think none of what went on in the movie happened in real life, I just think it was the usual Hollywood script/book writing taking liberties with a story to make it sound more interesting. After all, he did title his book.... the amazing TRUE story...... Captain Phillips and The Wolf of Wall Street are among many other examples.

Nonetheless, I love this movie and consider it the second to the last great movie that Spielberg directed (Munich being the last).

The animation part looks amazing, the front is generic. Also, no 4k

Dang like others it would have been great if just the animation were the cover art. Also would have been nice to see a 4K version of this. Maybe one day.

20th Anniversary of the film and it's not getting a 4K?
