Really fun movie that I much preferred over VV's The Necro Files. Only thing is when I went into the setup portion of the menu to look at the audio options, my old Samsung player would do a hard reset every time. But when I tried the disc in my PS5 it was just fine. Just a heads up for those who might have an older player and want to access the commentaries. All that said I'm glad to have this on blu-ray. I've been wanting to watch it for years.

I'm not going to say it's a life changing film by any standard, but upon arriving at my house I watched in 3 times in the same week. It achieves it's namesake of "Japanese Evil Dead" within a brisk 1 hour run time. If you like SOV stuff, there's plenty to enjoy. It actually manage to create a somewhat creepy atmosphere before it really starts kicking off into high gear too, the use of light and dark to make the house feel foreboding was well done.
