India's largest budgeted action epic movie ever; looks absolutely crazy looking.

Here's what my local theater had to say when they had a screening:
Some movies have a moment that makes you want to stand up and cheer, RRR is a series of them expertly connected. The emotions are intense; there are three action scenes that would be the climax of a Fast and Furious film that happen before the opening title card drops 40 minutes in.

Oh yeah, there are also dance numbers, obviously.

Legend3D did the conversion. Not sure what the odds are of this ever getting a 3D blu-ray but it would be a shame to miss out.

The odds of it getting a 3D Blu-ray release are astronomical. The film has been discussed over in the Indian 3D films thread.

I figured as much. It'd be nice if Random Space Media would take a chance on this and the many the other Indian 3D films lacking 3D blu-rays.

I don't expect regular Pixar titles to get a licenced 3D disc by some smaller movie company. But we already saw some Asian 3D movies popping up that way in the past. This one might be the most interesting one to follow for any company who did such a surprise 3D release. I think there is a chance.

I’m sure Random Space Media would love to release this and many other unavailable 3D films. I’m guessing that acquiring the rights to these unavailable films is a real bitsch.

That might not even be the biggest roadblock. My guess is it might have more to do with the number of potential buyers for Indian movies in 3D blu-ray format - I have no way of knowing how many potential buyers there are in India, let alone the rest of the world.

I'd be interested in 3D. I don't watch much if any Indian cinema, but the reviews plus 3D makes me want to try it!

Watched this on Netflix yesterday, and I really, REALLY want to own this film, on a legitimate Blu-Ray or 4K UHD Blu-Ray release. However, whilst copies exist on eBay, I'm 99.9% they are all pirated/illegal duplicated versions.

But RRR is a masterpiece that really deserves a physical media release from someone, somewhere in the world. I guess time will tell if that will ever happen.

These indian 3D movies are being totally wasted as most of them have great use of 3D and colors. This should be considered a crime against culture.
