Since this is getting a brand new restoration, we shouldn’t have to worry about that here, hopefully. Unless I’m mistaken, that problem only applied to BU releases that were restored for BD and then upgraded to UHD shortly after.

I tried to find this thread but missed it. Looks like you got it first! Mine are scheduled for tomorrow and I am very curious to see if Eugenie is still slathered in DNR.

I sold my BU BR of Justine years ago because the movie seemed to offer so little but I'm enjoying the 4K. Beautiful sets, colors and women. Jess had an eye even when he was working with pennies but if this or Dracula had been big hits his career might have gone in a different direction. I'm glad it went in the direction it did but looking at this can make you wonder what if?

There is no insert so I guess Brian is refering to the slipcover which is thin.

Not the slipcover but the case insert that will eventually be standard, with the same art as the DVDs (and reverse art for the BDs) and the specs on the back. It is so thin I wonder if I should scan them as they'd probably wrinkle very easily with exposure to moisture.
