Been waiting a while for the release date and trailer. Makes me so happy to see Red and Kitty back. Even if the show sucks, watching it for them will still be worth it.

All ten episodes on Netflix (US) January 19th.

I'll keep my expectations in check because it could easily be shit, but yeah, seeing Red and Kitty back made me soyface.

I saw the pilot episode as part of a focus group earlier this year. It’s pretty good and the production feels equal to the original show. I think people’s enjoyment of the spin-off will hinder on how much you like the new kids. They all seemed likable enough to me. I think fans of the original show will also be pleased that

Wow. I did not know this was a thing. A little worried this one is going to be sterile, especially with Red and his feelings toward foreigners.

What's crazy is how if you've seen Kurtwood Smith in anything else recently he looks his age (nearing 80) but in this he looks twenty years younger and looks like he put on some weight to look the part.

Kitty and Red look spot on they don't miss a beat. The kids though I am not sold on, when you look at that original cast and see how many future stars were born out of it the new cast have some big shoes to fill.

I honestly feel the same, though I'm gonna give them a chance. Looking back, just about all of the original cast of teens were no-names too when it started.

Kitty and Red looked great, barely aged and seem spot on. The kids look terrible, annoying, and cliched.

I hope there's just as many '90s references as there were '70s references in the original: Goosebumps, Pokemon, Pogs, Nirvana, Spice Girls, Nickelodeon, clear plastic phones with the colorful circuits, etc.
