Lionsgate will be releasing Francis Ford Coppola's Twixt (2011), which also goes by the name B'Twixt, and also B'Twixt Now and Sunrise. This will be a new cut called The Authentic Cut, which is described as:

Ugh. Twixt. The thing I remember most about this movie was walking out of it at tiff 2011. Complete and utter garbage.

One of Coppola's absolute worst films. I can't even believe he made it.

Uhmmm, why is the deepdiscount page crediting quite a few adult film actors, Mike Horner, Kristy Myst, Randy Spears, I don’t remember them being in this film.

Could be deleted scenes that were added back into the film.

Don’t recall what I thought of this film the first time, but I’ll get for the cheapo Lionsgate price.

The only thing I remember about this film (other than not liking it much) is that it's the first thing I saw Alden Ehrenreich in. I think I saw it on video just to see who the new Han Solo was.

The listing here has the runtime at 129 minutes, up from the theatrical cut's 88 excruciating minutes. Yikes.

Edit: That runtime must be an error. Looks like this new version screened in November at Cinematheque at the Cleveland Institute of Art, and it's listed at 90 minutes. Whew.

Glad this is just a re-release and not a sequel. I picked up a copy of this at Dollar Tree probably 2 years ago and still haven't watched it.

Wasn't this the movie where he used to live edit it for audiences? That's probably why it's significantly longer than the other cut.

Exactly. This is one of my least-favorite Coppola films, but it's gotta be in the history books for the live editing aspect. Because of that, and all of the recut versions of his movies he's done in the past decade or so, I've wondered/hoped if we would revisit this. If it has a new color grade I'd appreciate that, too. I feel like this one needs a fresh coat of paint.

So looks like its a shorter cut.
