Default Looking for a good TV stand....

Where is a good place to find a TV stand? I look at Walmart and Target to see what they may have but dont have a hugs selection. I will have a 50" Panny Plasma, Onkyo 908 HTIB, PS3, and HD cable box. Im just looking for some ideas where some of you found your stands. I want to make sure to have enuff room for everything to "breath" sufficiently and also a good one to hel hide wires. Thoughts...

There is a company called Arhaus, not sure if they have them in your area or not, but they're on the web. This is where we got ours, as my wife doesn't want the t.v. hanging on the wall, so I got theirs because their stands are designed more shallow, to accommodate new T.V.s, and not big old dinosaur TVs. We have gotten tables, chairs, couches, and cabinets from them, and we've been very happy with the quality of everything they have. Also do a quick search if they're in your area, and find one of their clearance centers...... we got a dining room table and chairs that was in flawless condition, but they discontinue the models every year or so, all of this stuff ends up in their discount place. Only problem is, you don't know what they'll have until you go there.

good luck!

Check out Ikea too. I don't know if you have one in your area, but they also ship items. They have some very nice furniture lines that do not look like what most people think of when they hear Ikea furniture.

Ikea has a $60 stand that will be more than adaquate, I'll have to look up the exact model #. Then you spend $20 building some risers for it (its really short) and voila. TV stand without the jacking

I second that link. In fact, the "Accurate" line of stands was the cheapest and actually worked out to be the best for me.
