United Kingdom A Moment Of Romance - Andy Lau (Radiance Films)

It looks as though Benny Chan’s classic A Moment of Romance starring Andy Lau is getting a much needed Bluray release by new UK boutique label Radiance Films

Great news. I can finally ditch my VCD.

Would be nice if they could do 2 and 3 as well, maybe as a set. I really like 2 as well. 3's not great, but has its moments.

Preorders are up on Amazon (at least in US) with an expected release date of Aug. 23.

This looks exactly like up my alley, not familiar with the director nor the label, but the setup and Andy Lau works perfectly, pretty safe to assume I'll enjoy this. Loving the artwork on this release as well.

Radiance was created by the former director of content of Arrow Video, Fran Simeoni. He's so far curating a lot of great choices for his label. There's an official thread with all the releases, and other info here:

I'll definitely have to keep an eye out, though it seems they're focusing more on earlier European cinema?

It's definitely a mix, and their first year has been Europe (and especially Italy) heavy but they've said that was partly just down to what contracts they were able to finalise first and there is more Asian cinema on the way from them.

I'm sure they will soon see the light like most other labels and concentrate primarily on Hong Kong films!
