Real shame it didn’t get a few Dolby showings. It definitely looked sharp when I saw it yesterday (actually better than the same theater’s showing of Scream VI in their ‘premium’ XD auditorium) but dino movies need big screens and big sound.

I saw it a prime theatre in NYC-the sound was great but the seats didn't shake(like they should have-so that was disappointing)-but I did like the movie overall. I will be getting the 4K.

Hope it's a really good HDR presentation! Should be with Sony. You'd imagine. Like the vibe of it. Didn't see trailer but I'm willing to blind buy an Adam Driver action vehicle.

While this was unfortunately relegated to the "small" theater at my local it still managed to convey a very ballsy sound mix. Should do nicely on disc. Film itself was decent enough - not amazing but was entertained and will purchase the disc when available.

Lots of options for good laser projection at my regular theaters (and some not so great screens as well…) but in my experience it’s much harder to find a non-PLF theater with big sound. I guess the chains figure people are more likely to tolerate poor sound than poor picture.

We have a PRIME at our local AMC but no Dolby Cinema so we’re often shut out of the more limited PLF releases. Interesting that 65 didn’t use the butt kickers. I think The Invitation was also a Sony production and that had some of the best seat rumble of any movie I saw last year. The barriers between rows were literally shaking from the vibration.
