At the end of “Titanic” they say there is no record of a Jack Dawson and Rose says “why would there be?”

But Gracie was very taken with Jack and it is certainly possible he would have mentioned in his book.

I should have mentioned in my OP that after seeing Titanic again this February I reread Titanic: An Illustrated History.

That prompted me to post this.
