Bob Clark is hit and miss for me - was meh on both Christmas Story and Porky's, but LOVED Black Christmas. Heard good things about Deathdream and Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things, will need to catch up with them soon.

Had been meaning to watch this for years and finally did when BU released their blu-ray edition. This is an extremely effective, creepy horror film that really resonates after you've watched it and I can't believe I didn't catch it sooner. Glad they're putting out a UHD, I'll definitely be picking it up.

My favorite Bob Clark movie is MURDER BY DECREE, but this is an extremely effective little shocker and was filmed about an hour's drive from me in Brooksville, Florida.

normally I would have had this blu ray a long time ago but it was always so expensive.. after awhile I said to myself-- "just wait for the inevitable 4k"...

Holy shyte yes! It’s about time. I figured this might roll out on the coat-tails of Shout’s excellent Black Christmas 1974 4k. The platform should bring meaningful gains to this material. Hopefully BU doesn’t push the cyan. Let’s do this!!!!

Aside from Argento's Inferno, which goes without saying (but seems to have logistical complications regarding access to the negatives and/or licensing issues), Deathdream and The Prowler are the two prior blu ray catalog items I've wanted on 4k uhd the most from BU. And hopefully Death Line (Raw Meat) (1972) isn't far behind on 4k either. Can't ever have too much Donald Pleasence on 4k. Vampyres (1974) and Stendhal Syndrome on 4k wouldn't suck either. Take my money, BU!!!!
