Lionsgate Television is in early development on a series that could bring author Stephenie Meyer’s book series back to life after the wildly successful movies.

I liked the books and movies well enough, they left a good bit out so a TV should could benefit from it, and probably throw in some of that Midnight Sun version. As long as it's 1 book per season and they don't try to stretch it out into too many episodes or multiple seasons per book, it'll probably do well.

They haven’t said it’s a remake of the books. Could be a continuation or prequel or spin-off at this point.
