Sony Pictures will be releasing the action/comedy film The Man from Toronto (2022), which stars Kevin Hart, and Woody Harrelson, on June 13th. The film originally streamed on Netflix, but Sony retained physical media rights. I watched the film a couple months back, and I thought it was an enjoyable popcorn movie. Pretty much par for the course with most Kevin Hart films.

Teddy Jackson (Kevin Hart) is a bumbling entrepreneur who can't make any of his ideas work. Taking his wife on a vacation getaway, Teddy ends up at the wrong Airbnb and is mistaken for a vicious assassin known as The Man From Toronto. When the real assassin (Woody Harrelson) arrives, the two realize that they have to work together to escape tenacious FBI agents, bloodthirsty hired killers and a handler (Ellen Barkin) who wants her money back. THE MAN FROM TORONTO is an explosive comedy with wall-to-wall action.

I found it kinda mediocre, but it had its moments. Always nice to see a streaming movie get a disc release, though!

They kind of lose me though when the streamed version is 4k, HDR, and Atmos though. I mean can't they make the effort to at least put a lossless Atmos track on the damn disc?

Great Hopefull more netflix only movies on blu ray or 4k
Bummer that there's no atmos or 4k.

I enjoyed this. Good harmless fun. Hart and Harrelson are both great.

The best thing about this movie was the '69 Dodge Charger.
