Well damn, I guess Universal has no choice now but to fork over another $300M+ to fund Vin's vanity project, because he is Producer.

I mean, this is Vin “this is your destiny” Diesel we’re talking about. I don’t doubt the idea has been floated around, but it’s not like Diesel has overstepped his mark and likely rocking the boat to tempt fate a bit. I think if Fast X struggles to score audiences, the idea of a third finale entry will get annexed pretty quickly.

Diesel may be producer, but he still needs to score financial backing.
