Also it feels like Warner Brothers has turned it's back on the 3D format as the newer DC movies starting with the last Suicide Squad movie was not offered in 3D only 2D IMAX. I find it especially strange for a movie like The Flash that is filled with chaotic action sequence and special effects that features one of the more well known comic superheroes especially among kids along with Batman, Superman & Spider-Man, to me it feels like such a huge mistake to not offer this movie in the 3D format as well.

Yeah especially under it's new awful management, it makes no sense when Marvel is still offering all their movies in 3D. I've been looking but can't find anything on why Warner is no longer offering DC movies in 3D nor anything about them being done with 3D.

I thought they converted The Flash into 3D already based on some posts? If it's not in 3D, that really stinks. I'll see it for Keaton's Batman, and Affleck's Batman, but definitely disappointing if true about the lack of 3D.
After Avatar 2 finally hit theaters and was a huge hit, now is the time to be offering strong 3D films in theaters and on blu ray 3D.... Along with a new 3D display for 3D fans in addition to 3D projectors (outliving the market for 3DTVs which were stopped for production in 2017 or so). |

Its disapointing to see, that no one uses James Camerons 3D tech to produce a native 3D experience, after Avatar 2. Bring back Anderson and his wife Mila for something like "Resident Evil: World 3D". Afterlife & Retribution, using Camerons "Fusion 3D" tech are still on my "best 3D ever seen" list. Will never forget how amazing this was seeing this for the first time
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Is it true that even Warner converted Mortal Kombat 100%, canceling the theatrical run? Last edited by xootoo; 05-13-2023 at 09:01 AM. |

I've been seeing that the recent Mortal Kombat was suppose to be in 3D but Warner cancelled it for whatever reason. |

Why do we have a new thread for a film that's not releasing in 3D? All the posts here are more suited in the Converted 2D film wishlist or something.

On principle though, you are 100% correct, threads should not be created in the 3D forum for 2D films that were never converted to 3D. |

The last DC film film to be offered in 3D was Wonder Woman 1984 which is sad, not even the upcoming DC Blue Beetle film is being offered in 3D it's being promoted as an IMAX experience.

Posters for 3D movies often do omit the word "3D". And IMAX frequently plays 3D conversions in 2D. It's not looking hopeful, but let's wait until 2 weeks before release when ticket pre-sales happen before ruling out the existence of a 3D version. WB did label it a 3D movie in their studio list of upcoming features.

I suppose there's still time to surprise announce a 3D treatment. After all, the Scream 6 conversion was announced last second. Strange that it seems to be the only film to be converted in the wake of Avatar 2s success.
I definitely think Flash looks visually strong and could be very cool in 3D. |

Had this been in 3D I would have went to see it in the theater but as is I don't have much enthusiasm for this movie so I'll wait and check it out when it gets a home release.
