This is much nicer. I don't know why they didn't just make this the main SB.

Definitely a nicer Steel than the other one but it feels lazy that they've reused the art from the outer box. If they're gonna go out of their way to use an alternative Steelbook then why not go all the way and use the original poster? I dunno, I'll probs stick with my existing order

I think I prefer the trade wide steelbook as at least the artwork is different, I also prefer the inside art on it so I'll stick with that one I think.

Shame there isn't a steelbook only release, the price is pretty high for just a bunch of additional tat.

There will be SteelBook only releases in other countries if you don't want the collector's editions

You think they'd be ones available to ship to the US? Really want to get my hand on either this edition or the steelbook itself but I live in the US.

Damn, I hope that this is not the final cover. AI has surely done it with hands again.

And whoever approved this art gotta have some level of visual impairment...

Come to think of it, looking at what they took from here, it really is terrible art.
The thumb on his right hand is blended into his body on the art.
Awful.

Previous release art was far better. Or they should have just gone with the original poster art.

This thread has now got me thinking about whether or not the UCE is worth it to me. No booklet, just postcards? These UCEs were more desirable to me when there was some supplemental reading material. Still have the pre order in place.

Honestly if it weren't for how nice the Arrow set was - and the fact that it's missing any tat to represent ETD - I probably wouldn't bother with the UCE version either. I'm not a huge fan of Warner and their lazy approach to physical media in recent years as it is, and I would rather not give them the satisfaction of falling for something like this, but...

After spending the £120 on the Arrow set, I kinda feel like I want all the trimmings with this one...besides, if nothing else it seems like it might hold some value at least, judging by how quickly the pre-orders sold out. Maybe one day I'll replace it with the barebones disc and sell this one. I do like the idea of putting the 4K disc in the Arrow set and using this SB to house the old DVD and the 40th BD though...

If I could get a dual hub digibook tray that was the same thickness and size of the one that is already in there which would fit, I’d probably try to hack the Arrow apart. It’s just that the Arrow describes the old BD and its contents on the back of the digi so I don’t want to do a disc for disc swap.
