It appears to be the same ones form the last HD DVD BOGO two weeks ago. The Best Buy close to my house has not restocked the HD DVD section, so I am not sure how many more they will sell.

We all know that retailers are going to start pushing out stock so that they can prep for the holiday shopping time with only blu in the store, this seems like this is the start of the domino effect. Amazon has a HUGE 50% off over 100 titles of Uni, Paramount, and WB titles.

No store will be stupid enough to take away HD DVDs until its officially over. Especially major electronic stores like Best Buy and Circuit City. You all just love to spread rumors. Its not like people are throwing out their HD DVD players now, just because people arent buying them anymore doesnt mean people who already have them will stop buying the movies and go out and spend $500 on a Bluray player.

Well, if inventory is not selling according to expectations and taking up store space, they will get rid of the trash...its a dying format...Circuit is in the process as well as best buy....just sit back and watch...

Even with HD DVD only having 2 companys they still have the best selection top 5-10 wise in the states, not including imports from the UK

Matrix collection
Batman Begins
Transformers
Shrek the Third
Bourne Identity
Bourne Supremecy
Bourne Ultimatum
Beowulf
American Gangster

Until this winter when all of the major summer movies come out which looks like they will be very Blu oriented HD DVD will not just drop dead yet

exactly. They're not being phased out yet. They are, however, probably trying to get some moving since HD DVD is dying, just to see if there are still people out there buying.

In any event, no HD disc, HD DVD or blu-ray, is moving in masses until the prices go from $30 to $20. Period - no matter what.
