Best Buy has a listing for one that comes with the comic book but it doesn't look like a steelbook, even though it's $7 more than the regular 4K version. Hmmm.

Of all the DC animated films to need a steelbook, it's been a crime worthy of the combined might of the Super Friends AND the Justice League that this has only been done now.

The red seems a bit of a strange choice, but overall, pretty solid.

The animated movie of my childhood,still have that VHS.

Checked over on amazon (walmart has the exact same one), and while it doesn't say steel (like a few other listings), the pics look exactly like the uk release, sans mention of the comic and of course the ratings logo:



They don't have a seperate 4k release listed like best buy, so I'm wondering if the seperate 4k is a mistake since no one else seems to have one.

I rented it so many times on VHS, but my parents never bought it for me. I finally had to record it off Cartoon Network.

Then I bought the DVD snapper case. And then I bought the WAC blu-ray. I own it in HD on iTunes (which hopefully upgrades itself to 4K). Then the movie disc came with the B:TAS blu-ray set.

I'm stoked for this in 4K. Just wish the steelbook was the OG artwork, but I'm just thrilled it's getting a steel at all.

That's what it appears to be, even for the uk release. The price point is the same (they have the list for the $32 price), even for the ones I mentioned earlier for amazon us and walmart, so it's most likely the steel.

Only one place is calling it a steel, and that's HMV (two if you count amazon france). Only best buy has two listings, and the other one doesn't have pictures, which was why I said it's most likely the outer box, going off of the original pics from the op, where the steel looks the same.

I realize it's guesswork, but based on the face that a few other releases this year have done just a steel and not a separate 4k release, it would seem this is another one of them.
