I've been a huge Turtles fan since I was a very little kid, but I was determined not to see this after what they did to April but all this positive reaction to it...

Maybe one day my life will be so devoid of stress and concern that the changing of skin color for a fictitious comic book character that never had their race as a distinguishing attribute will be considered an actual issue of mine.

They really made April black lol? I mean I guess I can see that, but it's still a weird choice if you ask me. Why not just make a turtle or some other character a black voice instead of completely going woke and changing this for very little reason other than HEY LOOK we changed her skin color? Seems pretty iffy to me. And I would say this for any prominent black character changed to white just for the hell of it too.

Can't say I really love the designs of these turtles. After watching that trailer I think it's an easy no for me. Looks like some cheesy kid thing. Bring back the 80s cartoon in 4K ffs.

Wait until I find out? Am I supposed to care? As in I could see Raphael being a black guy. He's one of my favorites, and I can think of more than a few actors that could play him. He was generally played by a white guy in most of the cartoons and what not. Changing April just seems pointless to me. Like why? What's the reasoning except another woke agenda by those in charge?

Regardless, this reboot looked awful, and April had nothing to do with it. I simply don't like the look of these turtles in the slightest bit. I don't like the animation either. It's not like I am mad at the film for changing April, it just seems kinda pointless to me like the recent Disney efforts. I cannot think of logical reasons for doing this except to pander to certain demographics for sales. Which is fine. I was asking if anybody knew why they changed her.

Personally, I never really had a huge attachment to April. But I do have an attachment to the look of the turtles and Splinter. This is easily the worst look I have ever seen.

I wasn't a fan of this April character, I gotta admit.

I also didn't really like that this wasn't so much a TMNT movie, but more of a mutants movie (I guess I should've known from the title).

I did like the movie, though.
