I JUST heard of this project.

Jesus... Julian Schnabel directs from Nick Tosches' novel; Oscar Isaac, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Gerard Butler star... also, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, and John Malkovich play roles??? Scorsese is also executive producer.

How am I just paying attention to this??? Wow.

This will debut in Venice. According to the festival's artistic director, the film has taken a long time to reach the screens "due to a dispute between the filmmakers and the film’s funders." Variety says the dispute is due to the 150-minute runtime.
