Hope they do a better job on the encode than they did for HUMAN VOICE. Just no excuse when it’s a half hour short.

It's showing here, with a 30 interview with Almodóvar to bump up the running time. First time I've heard of a DVD extra playing with the film at the cinema!

We've had a few sporadic showings at my local over the last month with a pre-recorded remote interview. Don't think it's the same one - Anna Bogutskaya conducts and it's longer than half an hour (at least it felt that way, especially with Almodovar continually going eehhhhhhh mid sentence).

Think I'll pass on this one, it's middling at best. Love the artwork though.

Well... during the interview, Almodovar went as far as to give a plot outline for a feature length version. He didn't sound like he had any intention of making it, more that he felt the need to get it off his chest.

HMV had The Human Voice for £3.99 (impolite not to buy it) not sure if it was an exclusive but it's fallen off the planet now no sign. Yet to watch it.
