Peru-- where to buy new and used movies? - Blu-ray Forum

Hi,

Does anybody reside in Peru? Or familiar with the retail scene in the country? I'd like to know where/how to buy a couple Blu-rays released in Peru.

your best bet is Polvos Azules in Lima, but they sell mostly bootlegs, but you can find virtually every single movie you want.

I visited Lima last year. I ran into one store in Miraflores that sold legit blu-rays, although the selection was very small. Bootleg sales are rampant over there. There's also an indoor mall called Galería Arenales in Lince where they sell a lot of anime collectibles and stuff. You might have luck there also.

Thank you both for an interesting picture of the local scene. Kind of similar to what I saw in certain Asian markets.

By chance, do anyone know if any of these shops have an online presence? Or is there a Peruvian equivalent of a todocoleccion? I tried mercadolibre.com.pe for the titles I was looking for, but was unsuccessful.

The shops at Polvos Azules, wich is a bootleg and counterfeit kind of Mall, do not sell online. Most video sellers are located in the first background of the mall.
