Blu-ray.com is messing up the youtube links. If you copy and paste the url the OP listed it works fine.

Also can't see the link. The only htib I remember from back then was a Kenwood set sold at Sears since I lived in a tiny town at the time. DVD players have come so far; the first one I had from '99 only had composite and s-video. The little prongs in the s-video cable could be kind of annoying and bend but still felt like an upgrade coming from vhs.

It's a Nakamichi Soundspace 9. I'm guessing they weren't inexpensive.

I was close. It is actually a Soundspace 12.

You are correct, the number 9 was music only.
