I like the art style, was hoping for a modernization of the Oracle games with it but I’ll definitely take a wholly new game instead.

I presume Grezzo are the developers; didn’t Link’s Awakening launch September as well?

I've watched the video several times and it doesn't appear to look or run better. Feels like something they rushed through development so they'd have a new Zelda game on the Switch for this holiday season.

I would've preferred it to have been something that didn't look like a mobile game. And you watch, Nintendo will charge 60 bucks for this damn thing. I'm so sick of Nintendo getting away with charging premium prices for indy level work that couldve been made in Dreams or Roblox! And NOBODY in the media calls them out for it! But no, we all have to sit here and pretend like Nintendo is doing yeoman's work when in reality, with very few exceptions, the production value of most of their games is that of a mid level indie developer, without the indie level prices. I'd say about 20% of Nintendo's 1st party games are legitimate, full production, modern standard video games and the other 80% are glorified mobile games being sold for 50 and 60 bucks. Yet most everybody seems totally cool with it?? I don't get it. It must be some kind of mass hypnosis.

Over 400 in the last fiscal year. They're doing something right.

Maybe it's........not chasing diminishing visual returns by keeping budgets and graphics modest so you can actually make a profit on everything. Steels been triggered since the BotW media coverage. He can't let it go.

Don't care for the cutesy art style. Didn't want the first Zelda-protag game to be about finding Link in some reverse bullshit of the damsel in distress, hoped it would just be HER adventure, without Link, Tails Adventure style. Probably remove Ganon as well. I did want her play style to be less direct, meaning about wisdom rather than courage, but that it's apparently nothing but summoning prior objects is a letdown.

Wondering if you’ll be Zelda the entire game. Also wondering how the echo system works during extended gameplay. If it’s too frequent or uses a menu system that starts to feel cumbersome that could be disappointing. It’s Nintendo so I have faith.

I believe an ESRB rating or some international equivalent said you will be playing as Link as well. Although I'm willing to bet it's right at the start right before he gets captured. Also, if the final boss isn't Ganon using Link to fight for him against Zelda, I'm gonna be disappointed.

Perhaps we'll probably get a demo sometime before release to see how the system runs through. Seems this will be the first 2D Zelda I would get though.
