I do hope it doesn't say Season 1 on the SB as the Amazon title would suggest. I haven't seen it yet, but I've read that it's considered a limited series, and there's no plans for a S2.

Even at 6 episodes it was twice as long as it needed to be IMO. The post-TWD series I was probably looking forward to most and ultimately enjoyed least.

Ehhh. I was a little underwhelmed by it too, to be honest. The first episode or 2 were intriguing, especially Michonne's journey (I loved Nat- best new character in a while), but it dragged on waaaay longer than it needed to. I'll probably skip for now, but if and when it ever goes on sale to a good enough price, I'll probably get it, if only to have the (eventual) full story of TWD proper.

Hogwash. Episode 4 was one of the top ten episodes in the entire history of the TWD franchise and, if anything, the final episode was much too rushed.

I don't like TWD franchise enough to own or watch over but the 3 new series I enjoyed watching more than the majority of the last half of the original. Might have helped I binged them in a couple days lol

Any chance this will have a non steel book release? I just want it to match up with the other Walking Dead shows and never bought the Daryl Dixon release because it was a steel book. Might have to make an exception here, but we'll see. Just that my steelbooks are displayed elsewhere.

Season 1 of Daryl Dixon only had a Blu Ray steelbook. DVD got the standard release.I'm guessing this will be like that.

Correct, it'll be the same. Blu-ray only Steelbook, and a DVD release too.

Looks like it'll have a clear slip with the title and other info. It also looks like they removed Season One from it too.

I'm currently re-watching The Walking Dead Daryl Dixon Season 1 via my Blu Ray set ahead of Season 2 premiering later this month. Looking forward to my The Ones Who Live arriving soon.
