Some information upcoming Buena Vista BRs - Blu-ray Forum

Yesterday, Buena Vista Home Entertaimant Japan had announced some technical information of upcoming Japanease version movie BRs.

Fligtplan BR-25 mpeg4/H.264HP
Pearl Harbor BR-50 mpeg2
The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy BR-25 mpeg4/H.264HP
The Percifier BR-25 mpeg2

Of course, audio tracks were different with US version, but all of them have English LPCM tracks. As for video codec, It will be same with US version. It seems 'Flightplan' and 'The Hitchhiker's Guide' have been encoded to H.264HP by Panasonic Hollywood labo.

MPEG-4 Part 10 = H.264 High Profile = AVC

According to this Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy will be BD-50.
