I thought it was the "OFFICIAL" announcement, but good enough for now as they really have no other HDM.

Update: Universal's president Craig Kornblau had this to say: "While Universal values the close partnership we have shared with Toshiba, it is time to turn our focus to releasing new and catalog titles on Blu-ray."

I love the 2-Disc SE DVD of Serenity. But I would definatly upgrade to Blu if they ported the extras.

Now we just need Dreamworks to approve of this format: The Ring with 7.1 audo, 1080p etc; gives me high def chills just thinking about the transfer quality.

The Ring would be great. Hopefully they can manage to do a commentary for it though.

I hated how barebones the Ring movies are on DVD. Gimme my extras!!
