Cool, thanks. I try to tune in to this Summer Games Fest each year since it began as E3 tanked permanently. The CES Consumers Electronic Show is mostly about non-video games these days.

Big thing to look out for during this event? Playstation Store Video game big sale prices. This is usually when Sony offers free video games (that one time they gave away Horizon 1 and Ratchet & Clank PS4 literally for free digitally). I didn't have R&C, so that was cool.

As far as disc games, I think those tend to stay the same price during the event most times.

Sony gave these away during the “Play at Home” event in response to the COVID situation. Don’t expect it to happen again any time soon (if at all).

Hoping Sony will use SGF to show us game play for Saros! A damn Wolverine update would be nice too!

Hopefully there's some solid new gameplay reveals for announced titles but i am keeping my expectations in check so as not to be overly disappointed if they don't have much to really show.

I think Switch 2 might actually be the console getting the most attention if Nintendo want to help fuel the hype since its basically the same time as the Switch 2 release.

Personally hoping for more on Mafia Old Country, seems reasonable for that one. More skeptically, I'd like to see something on the Jurassic Park Survival game, or even... KotOR Remake. Saber has both of those games. Little Nightmares 3 has also been MIA for a while, would be cool if we get something on that too.

Old Country is a super anticipated game for me. I'm sure it'll be there since the hype is building well.

Supposedly, there are also rumors that a Resident Evil 9 reveal is imminent as well. Don't get too excited, since these are "leaks", but that would also be pretty cool to see.

I wonder how much time will be devoted to Death Stranding 2? Even with the live demo later in the evening, there will definitely be a Hideo Kojima presence.

I couldn't find a thread about RE9 on this forum, but RE9 may be announced at the event. Loads of rumours surfaced yesterday, backed up by Dusk Golem himself.

If RE9 ends up being another self-contained storyline, I will be seminal cross with Capcom. Look at all the stuff in RE7 and 8 they never explained. But they basically keep doing this in just about any RE iteration.

Who was Lucas Baker really talking to? Why was the BSAA sending bioweapons to assist Chris? You know?

They shouldn't just keep chucking different plot points into their games if they never intended for it to add up.

Sony, where is Wolverine from Insomniac? Now is the time to show the official gameplay already (not the leaked). It was revealed in 2020, now 2025.

I want to see gameplay of the new Blade game set for 2026 or 2027.

I want to see gameplay for Golden Axe reboot from Sega, and Streets of Rage reboot 3rd person from Sega too. Jet Set Radio and Crazy Taxi too along with Shinobi already revealed.

I'd like new indie games revealed gameplay too.

Rocksteady should reveal they're working on a Superman game that is single player based offline. None of this online only BS with Suicide Squad which seemed like wasted effort for many.

The first day, Friday, is mostly the bulk of the stage show. After that, it's just scraps. So I'll say 1 main day, and then a trickle of trailers and gameplay interviews on the weekend. 3 days. Geoff Keighley I think his name is. He seems like a good host.

You're thinking of The Game Awards in December, SGF Day 1 (Friday) is usually 2 hours long.
