I know this artists' covers can be polarizing, but I really like this one. Great colors, and should look very nice in person.

This was the one John Carpenter film I don't have on physical media and I've been considering going back and getting the 4K release from Scream Factory they did in 2021(I just did that with their Nightbreed 4K release last month) so this steelbook hitting works out for me.I like the art(I usually get the slip covers because they use the original poster art but once in a while I'll go for the steelbook depending on the art) so I think I'll get this rather then getting the 2021 release

Sometimes I think new art is over-conceptualized, and maybe this is, too...but it's a pretty arresting image; ghastly and weird, just like 'POD,' with lots of the signature, eerie green brine color. I'd ditch the horned skulls, though. 'Prince' steers clear of traditional depictions of the demonic and Satanic, and maybe the art should have, too.

I've been wanting to pick up the remastered blu-ray, and this would be a slick way to do it.

Not a chance. That would involve admitting an error, and once the error is admitted that would mean a flood of complaints and possibly having to ante up on a disc replacement. Not a chance.

I remember I was 15 when I saw this movie with my cousins from Astoria, Queens. And I found it so interesting on how @johncarpenterofficial was able to conjure up a gathering of scientists, religious clergy and make them all have to endure hell on Earth in DTLA! I loved it! ��

Inregards to the illustration, originally I had several key actors in the composition. But unfortunately, I couldn't include their resemblances into the artwork- which I think actually worked in my favor.

The only downside with SF shifting to Amazon over WM is they don't seem to drop their prices like WM exclusives tend to. I think they're all that $45 price.
